More About Me

Real estate is Robert E. Ormiston’s passion and each transaction is fun and exciting. Robert has over twenty (20) years’ experience as a broker and as an attorney with a focus in real estate.  He has also worked as a real estate developer, real estate construction project manager, and property manager. 

Robert is experienced with residential and commercial property purchases, sales, financing, development and construction.  He was the CEO of a real estate firm in San Francisco for seven (7) years where he handled residential and commercial property acquisitions, financing, property management, large capital improvement projects, and all aspects of property development and construction. Robert was also the President of a real estate investment company in Contra Costa County for over five (5) years that specialized in the investment in undeveloped land.

Robert completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Political Science. He obtained his law degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, graduating with Highest Honors (Top 2%, Class Standing: No. 4 in a Class of 207).

Robert is a licensed Real Estate Broker (DRE License #01014375), Member of the California Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the San Francisco Association of Realtors.  He is a licensed attorney in California and Virginia.

Robert was born in San Francisco and lived in San Francisco for decades.  He now lives in Walnut Creek with his wife, two children (who attend Walnut Heights Elementary School and Walnut Creek Intermediate), and two dogs.  Robert grew up and attended middle school and high school in Walnut Creek. While in high school he worked for the City of Walnut Creek as a recreation leader, park supervisor and after school sports coach.

Robert partners with WCEF (Walnut Creek Education Fund) that makes tangible daily benefits to support the public-school students’ education and he will further donate a percentage of his commissions to WCEF from transactions with any seller or buyer who indicate they want to support WCEF.
